Open to all show and conference attendees is a free screening of the film Greening the Federal Government (30 minutes), produced by Kontenreal as part of the PBS series e2 design. A film that can provide ideas to engineers in all types of facilities, not just government ones, it charts the move to make buildings sustainable. The focus is on the U.S. General Service Administration's Design Excellence program, and the remarkable building the program commissioned - the San Francisco Federal Building, designed by architect Thom Mayne - a structure that aims to be the prototype for tomorrow's workplace.
